Don't do it, just not worth it unless you get CASH ONLY. They will scam you with a wire, with a cashiers check, with any financial instrument other than cash. There are tons of fake cashiers checks out there now. And check the cash too that it's real. They might say they'll give you cash, get you so hooked in the process, so far down the road to selling it, then ooops, something will come up at the last minute, and they hope you give in and accept their cashiers check. If they call you from overseas to buy your car, hang up, will save you a lot of time and headache. --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Lauren <LPLand@...> wrote: > > Anyone have any experience you can share with selling a D overseas? > > My bidder is in France and while he's prepared to arrange shipping, > I'm wondering what kind of paperwork I need to do on my end for > exporting the car. > > Any help appreciated.....................LP et le 10440 > To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
