Assuming you make it on the show, go the distance, win the event, and do the
talk show circuit afterwards, it will tend to be a 6 month commitment.  Do
the winnings go to DCS?  

Open bar and Champaign for all on Saturday night DCS!  LOL  ;)

 Hi
 
Last Thursday my son Eric and I were invited to one of the regional
screenings for the Amazing Race.
Of course we went in Style and drove the DeLorean.
 
There were 60 teams selected to come but only about 45 showed up.
 
The screening was for us to answer some questions and to film a 2 minute
video to be used if we were chosen to go on the show.  Stuff like name where
you are from and a bit about yourself.
 
Well The DeLorean was there with us and I used a 25th anniversary shirt for
the filming so I was sure it showed up and loaded the questionair with
DeLorean related answers so hopefully if they want something different they
will choose us.
 
If we survive the screening and get notified to come to the final screening
in Chicago.
 
And again we will be there all DeLorean pumped up to compete.  
If we get selected it would be cool to do the race wearing a different
DeLorean shirt each day.
 
The people filming seemed to like us and we had them laughing which is a
good thing.  Eric was a real cut up and they were looking for older people
so I told them I was representing the AARP group and if they did not pick us
we would simply go back in time and redo it until they did.
 
Anyway its still a longshot but at least we tried and we did it with class
(DeLorean) Doc Brown would be proud of us LOL.
