Possible, but not like this, IMHO I know of a 2664 (88mm bore) odd-fire running triple webers, free-flow exhaust, high lift cams, custom pocketed pistons, custom conrods and a CR over 11:1, mapped ignition, lightened flywheel, twin plate clutch, ported and polished, big valves.... the list goes a lot further and produces just shy of 100hp/litre, which given transmission losses would account for 210 at the wheels from a 3 litre. I'll let everyone know what my recent 3 litre Alpine project produces when mapped up. This is a genuine euro 3 litre 12v EFI even fire lump which in the car it came from pushed a mere 170hp. Wasn't half torquey though... (unfortunately DeLorean work has got in the way!) (PS my 24v Citroen got sold on ebay and now lives in France) Martin Marc Levy wrote: > FWIW, Martin, I think the claim was 210 WHP without > the Nitrous.. 240 WHP with it. > > Do you think 210 WHP (that would mean maybe 270HP at > the crank!!) is possible from a Non-forced induction, > Non-Nitrous PRV?? > > Like I said, I am skeptical. > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
