Sweet writeup. Didn't say exactly which engine they used, but there are some hints. The year (1981) and the Stage I/II mentions look to make like they used the 4.1l version of the LD5 V6. I know the article /says/ 3.8, but the "Stage I / Stage II" mentions really lead me to believe it was the 4.1. I'll bet this project ran into, or at least near, 6 digits in price.
