I am disappointed with the decision not to proceed but I fully understand the reasoning. I am currious if you considered selling them to the vendors. At first blush, this would seem like a dumb idea except that all of the vendors seem to buy theirs from DMC Houston and everyone understands the problems with their inventory. It would seem like even DMC Houston might be interested in a source that would have first rate product. My problem is that, while I would like an original, I am more concerned with obtaining one that has no problems with delamination etc. Mine has about a three inch crack in it at the front lower corner but I see no point in repairing it with a product that looks as bad as the pictures of the NOS ones from Houston. It is really not about the price but the quality. I am not trying to impact the vendors product sales but it might be the case that if they had an alternative they might be willing to jump in an spring for the additional 14 units that you need to start production. Just a thought....
