No, I believe he means no frame and No Fibreglass Underbody. Look at the scene again. It's a MOVIE - it was STAGED. You don't need an underbody to make a pile of panels look like a DeLorean from 50 yards. Had the underbody been part of the car in that scene, the car would have bounced off the front of the train and not shattered, whether there was a frame under it or not. -- Mike -------------- Original message from "cbl1739" <cbl302@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>: -------------- > You mean no frame,as the shell holds all the visible SS > panels/doors/glass,etc onto the car,the drivetrain was a given, since > you do not see a drivetrain flying out of the car.but even with the > small explosions,it still shows, what happens when fiberglass and SS > meets a high impact object.Bet if there was a a FRAME BOLTED under > that car,the only thing that would have flown off that car was the > nose section, and NOT have shattered in a million pieces. > > cbl [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
