Hello Everyone, I am finally getting around to my door lock situation. I have rewound my solenoids so that they function correctly however I can only get the solenoids to function in one direction. If I slide the position sensor switch to the top and middle contacts the solenoid fires for 1 second and stops. When I switch to the center and lower contact the solenoid does NOT fire. If I manually close the relay on the module I can get the solenoid to fire but it will not on its own the way it should. I found that diode D4 is blown, other than that all of the other circuitry is intact. What would cause the solenoids to work in one direction and not the other?
