I am also going to catch up with Dave Teitelbaum and the others at the meeting spot in Northern NJ. We will then head to Bridgepot, CT and meet up with the rest taking the Ferry over to Long Island. I was going to drive through NYC but this sounds like it will be a nicer drive and an easier way to get to Port Jefferson. Besides who better to travel with than Dave T if you have a problem. LOL. There are others planning to meet up with us there, so anyone else who wants to meet up let Dave know. I have never been to Port Jefferson and it looks like we will be seeing a lot of other new places on the Gold Coast during the weekend tour. I am also looking forward to staying at the Glen Cove Mansion again, it is really quite a place. Just check out the pictures on their web site. The front of the main building bears a striking resemblance to JZD's former estate in Bedminster, NJ. The ferry ride should be cool with all the Deloreans. Those already in Port Jefferson when we arrive and unload be sure to get some good pics. I think the last time my car traveled across water with other Deloreans was 25 years ago when it came over from Ireland :-) Gary Gore VIN 3360 New Jersey --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "David Teitelbaum" <jtrealty@...> wrote: > > I can answer this. The ferry is $43.50 for a car and 1 person. Every additional person (with a Delorean I figure only one more) is $13.50. This is the rate for Saturday. The tour is NOT planning a return trip on the ferry. For anyone planning on using the ferry to return they must, on their own, make reservations and find out the fees. There is no fee for the tour at Brookhaven. I do urge anyone planning on using the ferry to call after the 14th to make a reservation directly with the ferry. As for Brookhaven it will speed things up if you can let Mike know you are coming so he can get the names to them for the badging process ahead of time. > David Teitelbaum > vin 10757 To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
