I'm trying to establish a VIN change point - or close to it - for this change. We have these VIN's here at DMC (Texas): 1049 - coarse 1112 - coarse 1243 - smooth, but prominent glass strands visible 1328 - smooth, gelcoat only, no visible strands The factory had twelve sets of underbody molds, so it's very possible that there was no direct VIN cutoff.
