Why isn't it DeLorean related? In my experience these permanent markers can be removed with a bit of solvent such as lacquer thinner. I once had hundreds of water stains on the horizontal surfaces of my D and the only thing that took them out was vinegar.. Dave Delman D² & 6530 (yeah , the one with the 2700 ohm resistor.) 7. Cleaning stainless steel Posted by: "H" heskin@xxxxxxxxx henryhank Date: Thu Aug 31, 2006 7:42 pm (PDT) Ok, so it's not exactly Delorean related since it isn't on my Delorean, but it is a friend's brushed stainless steel kitchen table. He had a party, and alot of people signed a banner with permanent markers, which, of course, bled through to the stainless. Luckily, I was able to prevent him from using steel wool to clean the table.. So, suppose someone used a permanent magic marker on your hood... how would you go about removing the marks (that is, from the hood, not the head of the culprit)? Please email me directly. thanks. -Hank #1619 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
