Group. I am trying to flush the AC system and convert to R134A. R12 has been removed and the plan is to use one of the procedures posted on the dmcnews tech section to convert. In one of the steps, low and high side lines have to be removed and flushing liquid added to the system. According to parts manual 7.2.0, piece no. 5,12, and 11 have to be removed in order to access those AC lines. Is my assumption correct? The other problem I have is I can't get bolt no. 12 to come off. I pulled and pulled with a 14mm wrench and it's stuck solid. Is it welded to the compressor? I've applied PB blaster penetrating oil quite literally. Should I get a torch out and start heating? Your insight is appreciated. Steve #04421, Bremerton, WA.
