Hello everyone, My DeLorean has an automatic transmission in it. I had it in for inspection this past week and my mechanic tells me the reason the car is sluggish upon startup is because it's starting in second gear, not first. Even pulling the stick down into first does not put the car into first gear. So it seems she's always stuck in second. Now there's a good transmission guy I know whom I'm going to have take a look at it, but before I do I figured I'd pass it buy everyone here first. Any ideas what might be causing this? My mechanic tells me all the linkages look fine and all the shifting from all other gears is fine. I'm hoping it's not something with the transmission computer. Also, I'm in the need for new front rotors. I know the first suggestion everyone will make is to buy the genuine $80+ rotors for the car, but out of curiosity, are there other options? -Kevin VIN 2234 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
