List: I am looking into suspension upgrades for my Delorean. The Eibach kit from Houston is one obvious choice, especially since it seems like the only complete kit out there. My current system is completely stock, so I am also looking into a system that will lower the front end a bit. My other concern is how stiff a system like the Eibach setup is. I live in Vermont and if you've ever lived in Vermont you'd know that very few of your tax dollars are going into road repair and repaving. That being said I am looking for something that is firm, but not so firm I will be rattling the teeth out of my head around every corner. Are there any other complete suspension kits available other than the Eibach setup? And what are peoples impressions of these different systems? The front end currently feels like a '75 Lincoln Town car, it is very soft and can be moved up and down quite a bit just by pushing on it, so I think some work is in order. Not to mention all of the creaking and squeaking you hear when pushing up and down on it. By the way, it looks like I fixed my idle problem. New fuel injectors did the trick, so a special thanks to John Hervey for trying to clean my old ones and supplying me with a set of new ones. And thanks to everyone else who helped with this issue. One thing I did learn during my troubleshooting is that new fuel injectors are packed inside with a grease, for reasons unknown, I suspect to prevent rust inside. Over 25 years this grease gets hard and needs to be blasted out of the injectors before they will function properly. The best way to do this is to simply drive the car, it might run poorly at first, but it will get better. John Hervey pointed this out to me, but John, if you're reading, I would make this a little more known as most people would not suspect it. Maybe put a little note in the box.
