The trip to and from DCS2006 has convinced me that I need to do something about my AC. The temperature was fine, very cold right at the ducts but there was not much power. I believe I have confirmed that the squirrel cage is proper and the motor is turning properly, ie counter clock wise. The is no obstruction visible on the fan side of the evaporator. I do notice something odd in that when the holes in the motor mount lines up with the plastic pin in the housing, the opening for the rubber tube is about 180 degrees out. I don't know if this means the motor is indeed the wrong one or if its mounting plate somehow got turned. Any ideas? (Yes, yes I do plan to add new center vents which I removed when I installed my computer.) Thanks, Dave Delman aka D & 6530 (Still driving with a 2700 ohm resistor in series with my ignition pickup coil and now clue as to why it doesn't run right without it...)
