RE: [DML] DCS 2006 Pictorial

Thanks Oliver!

I apologize for not having all of the shots done yet. It does take a
considerable amount of time to process all of the camera raw images, color
correct, crop, etc and then convert to JPEG. I hope to have the rest done
shortly.

As for the shot with Bill and Proto-one.....I was so happy with that shot
and upon showing it to other photographer friends they just didn't get it
(at first). After telling the story of who Bill is and what the car was,
they COMPLETELY understood and appreciated the shot for what it was. You
really can see a lot of emotion/thought in his face in that shot.

Anyway... I again apologize, but work has been crazy and I hope to get to
finishing these up soon. I also have 2,500 shots from a wedding to process
from end of May..so don't feel like DMC photos are the only ones not getting
done!!! But you actually are getting special treatment and being finished
before the wedding shots. LOL

Time to quit my IT job and go into photography full time? We'll see.......

I am AMAZED at the photography of Kevin Abato.
If you haven't taken a look at his images from DCS 2006, you'd better
brace yourself.
The results are mind blowing.
Not only do his pictures immediately transport you back in time to the
event with intense clarity, but you're gonna see a lot of art.
I've already got some personal favorites, including the black and white
of Proto1 and it's creator. Take a good look at that one and tell me
if you don't hear an intimate conversation going on.
Kevin has some of the greatest car shots you'll see, but he also has a
talent for capturing the people who attended, in a natural, beautiful
way.

I've got to say 'thanks' to Kevin for sharing his gifts with the
DeLorean community, capturing the event to help those who attended
remember, and for those who weren't there to catch a glimpse of what it
was like.

He's formatting and posting each of the days on separate pages.

(This was not a paid commercial, nor is there any connection other than
being a fellow owner. I just wanted to make sure we don't take this
guy for granted.)
Unbelievable.
