I've had my A/C overhauled within the last year. The -only- original components remaining are the condensor and the compressor. The system was upgraded to R-134a. 7 months ago I hung up my radiator on a parking curb so I had to evacuate the system so I could remove everything. I've only recently bothered to charge it all up again since it's finally warmed up outside. The Workshop manual gives a list of pressure and temperature specs that the A/C should operate at if the system is loaded with R-12. The compressor cycles at the correct pressures at the specified ambient air temperatures but the vent outlet temperature should be in the high 30's F for R-12 according to the manual. The coldest I can get my A/C is 53F. Is this about correct for R-134a systems?
