Last week, I noticed that my clutch seemed to be engaging gears closer to the floor as I released my pedal. I checked my clutch fluid reservoir to find out that it was empty. I filled it, then noticed a puddle forming under the car. I discovered a split in the hose just where it connects to the bottom of the fluid reservior. After I corrected it, I refilled the reservoir to full. I haven't driven the car yet, but wanted to ask if I should re-bleed the line. Could air have been introduced into the line? Would this problem have caused the clutch to engage close to the floor instead of the pedal being higher before engaging?
