The show this year was pretty much rained out on Saturday. Good thing I was invited for Sunday! It was a little muddy but not too bad. A lot of people were disappointed about the Delorean that was supposed to be offered in the Christie Auction. It had a sign on it saying they were expecting it to go for between $10,000 and $20,000. I couldn't really get a good look at it. It was an 82 automatic with 30,000 miles and could have been cleaned up better. I was told it was pulled from the auction by the representitive from DMV, something about the vin or the title not being right. It would have been interesting to have seen what it sold for. There were some very cool cars at the show this year. I was parked next to an Amphicar. Very cute. Plenty of Porches, 2 Maybacks, and many other very expensive cars. I got a lot of very positive comments about the Delorean. A lot of people saw the most recent show on the History Channel and were asking about how to get a "new" one.
