[DML] Re: trans seal leak... still!!

If that inner shaft o-ring is bad or missing, the leak will appear to 
come from inside the inner CV joint as the oil will migrate down the 
stub shaft thru the center of the output flange. If it's leaking 
around the outside of the flange, it's either the seal itself, a 
rust/pit groove in the flange, or, as Andy mentioned, damage to the 
case where the seal is pressed in to the case.
