Ben, Pretty nice from guys who could have just said, "Buy a replacement from us!" After reviewing the directions, I removed the rheostat from the car, superglued the disk in place on the post. The stops are still intact. I superglued the black plastic "finger holder" back in place since the end tabs had broken off when I originally tugged too hard on the wires. Reconnected the wires and tested. Worked! Everything is reinstalled and working great. Thanks again to those who offered suggestions on and off list.
