Corey - It is an 8mm square key stock hole. There is a snap on socket for it, or you can get someone to weld up something for you. I tried to make one this winter but it didn't work. The problem was, I was able to find key stock that fit ok, but in order for it to be soft enough to bend into a 90 deg angle, it was also soft that it bent as I tried to get the plug out. So I just bought the right tool for the job. PJ Grady has it. Andy In a message dated 4/12/2006 9:15:14 A.M. What size should I look for at the store? Also, does anyone know of a standard everyday plug that fits the car so in the future when I have to change the oil I don't have to spend an hour looking for that damn odd male ended wrench?
