Hi. Left my D alone for a few months and it doesn't start? Been there and done that. Try charging the battery overnight and try again. If charging battery doesn't work, then jump it (not recommended) or swap in a battery that's known to be good (charged and has good capacity). Starter assembly doesn't just go kaput. Chances are your starter is still working.
