[DML] Manual tranny leaking at drain plug

Hello everyone,

My drain plug on my tranny is leaking since I changed my manual tranny 
oil, or at least I hrecently noticed it is leaking.  I am certain it 
is coming from the plug since I got under there and watched it pool 
there. I tried Teflon tape but it still leaks, I am afraid to torque 
down on it anymore for fear of stripping it. There is about 1/8th inch 
of drain plug threads protruding from the case. The leak leaves a 
fairly large (2-4") spot in my garage. Any suggestions?
