[DML] Mirror Control Switch Disassembly

I have a mirror control switch that has the left/right mirror selector
switch jammed in the left (drivers mirror) position.  Any advice for how to
free it other than opening the housing and taking my chances?  Is there a
procedure that I can't find for disassembling and reassembling this part?
