Mike, I agree with your assessment that it's probably the clutch. Chattering is common if the flywheel was not ground to match the new disc. Rebuilt discs sometimes chatter as well. Dani did you replace the pressure plate and did you use a new or reconditioned disc? Even though it was replaced lately, it sounds like a classic case of clutch chatter.
