They barely thread into the wheel. The problem is the length. It is very difficult to find that thread in the length you need. My steering puller kit came with 50 diff bolts and none worked! You need to take a bolt that has the right thread and then find it long enough at the store. Maybe someone on here can give you the exact bolt size. I think True Value or an older store has them. Don't buy them too short OR too long, or else the puller won't work right! Also - make sure you screw them in ALL THE WAY or else you might strip the threads out of the steering wheel.
