Rich, The CNC machine the company owns I'm told is primarily to trim off the top layer of a wheel B4 they seal the aluminum. What I will be looking for is another spare wheel so after we power coat it and all the curb marks and breaks are cleaned up we will trim off a little of the high side so as to give it a more modern look. Any one has a old wheel I can buy or trade to experiment with. Doesn't have to be good. I know replacement wheels like this are a dream for many owners. A few people looked into this over the past five or six years, but I never heard any pricing details except very vague numbers.
