David, No, you have the cars confused, that WAS the 1 month from new car(the one with the balljoint that let go,that was the untitleable car(2000k car) This was the engine fire car with a Super clean title.(owner took the loss,no insurance claim)Why? I never asked. There was the red car (clean title) the parts only car(above),(untitleable)vin 570 the engine fire car and the other one, that was recieving the parts from the 2K car---16686 had a rebuilt title (after I put it thru MVD insp, and when I sold it)ENGINE Fire car always had a clean CT title even when sold. The 81 I sold (traded/sold for the engine fire car) was a super orignal that was never in any kind of accident, with a clean CT title(last I heard of it, it was shipped to Poland, the buyer was polish)Sorry if it sounds confusing, but I was buying/selling/trading cars like crazy,in those time periods (and still am today, but at a much slower pace) and it was not just Deloreans,it was all makes including newer Corvettes,Mercedes,Pontiacs, and a whole lot of others,at one point I had 30 plus cars of all makes. One of The Reasons for buying my garage, too many cars in my backyard, the town/neighbors complaining. It was Just the timing WAS perfect, between buying/selling/repairing Deloreans,in that moment in time for me.Hope that helps the confusion. cbl In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "David Teitelbaum" <jtrealty@xxxx> wrote: > That's an interesting story but you left out the part where you said > in a previous post that the car was untitlable because of the > extensive damage. > David Teitelbaum > vin 10757 > To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
