It makes much more sense to me to put it on the driver's side. Unless I'm "duh" - mine is on the passenger side - and I assume that's the way it's supposed to be via the parts manual. I solved this problem by adding a second nozzle on my drivers wiper, ran a brass T splitter , and used clear aquarium air pump tubing (found at local Wal-Mart in Pet department) and pump sprays fluid from both wipers, mind you it isn't a lot of fluid but it does work. You can hide the t splitter and tubing under the front area.
