This is a valid point, Legal ramifications should be discussed. However. It is well known that romving a converter is illegal. It seems to be so well known that it is the first thing people will say when the procedure is mentioned. I posted earlier about how other things we do are just as illegal, but not as well publicised, so they do not even get a mention where legality is concerned. My original question regarding removal of the cat was not intended to spark a purely legal debate, but a mechanical one. Thus far, I have recieved only one mechanical reply. And here I thought De Lorean owners where the type to live just a little bit against the grain. I guess I am largely on my own on this one. I'll let you guys know what jail is like if they let me post from the "Inside" Matt still legal in Colorado #16076 --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, mike.griese@xxxx wrote: > I respectfully disagree in this case.
