Just buy an early DeLorean, and they came this way! I'm not sure why the company changed the design later, but I assume it was to avoid the "pain-in-the-ass" factor of cramming all that stuff in there (harder to work on). Then again, maybe it corresponded with the otterstadt up/down change... (?)
