[DML] Radio Replacement

I pulled out my original radio (it's shot) last night and am looking 
at replacing it.  I would like to put in a cd player.  I'm afraid I'm 
gonna have to do some cutting on the dash face plate in order to get a 
new style (no knobs) radio to fit.  Does anyone have some 
suggestions?  Is there a dash plate that I can replace the original 
one with?  Is there any suggestions on Radio types or brands?
