> Hi all, I was wondering. Is it possible to use a generic key when > copying my DeLorean's original? Yes. The DMC key blank is only needed if you want the cool "DMC" head on it. If you just want a plain key, go to any locksmith with your regular key and they can make a copy for a couple of bucks. I have: - The original DMC key for my car (in storage) - A DMC key blank cut from my original (looks cool, used daily) - A couple of generic key blanks cut from my original (for emergencies; didn't see any reason to buy "expensive" DMC key blanks for these keys) -Ryan To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
