As a side note: If you're installing an alarm make sure you're wiring 
it's supply and ground directly to the battery. I had someone who knew 
I have an alarm in my car- actually go and cut my battery wires hoping 
the alarm would be dead too. When my pager went off I went outside to 
see what/who was disturbing my car-only to notice an old 80's rusted 
out tow truck speeding off with no license plates, didn't think much 
of it until the next day when I went to start the car....-----Dani B.
