John, I tried inserting the idle wrench into the hole, but there is a piece of metal in the way, like it came from the factory like that. I made a post on Tamirs forum and i got a response that you have to drill the metal to get the idle wrench down. Let me know, thanks John Hervey <john@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Make sure the 3 idle screws on the throttle body are screwed down and double check the idle speed motor and the switch that turns it on. John, It has never died at idle but most of the time it cant find a steady idle. It will drop to 550 appx and jump to 1200 to keep the engine from turning off and then it will slowly correct itself and jump from say 600-900 and keep jumping between those numbers. But i will try the 1/8 turn and see if that helps. thanks To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
