Hello all This conversation makes no sense! Why you might ask? Because there is an option on the car to switch between the lights always coming on or just with ignition. Just to the right of the gas pedal is a bundle of wires and you will notice that there is a green wire that is not connected to anything. There is also another green wire that is connected to another wire going to the pedal box. Just switch the green wires and the brake lights will either come on with the key or always. On mine I switched the wires so the lights only come on with the key. So, it is a matter of which green wire was used and that doesn't mean they all came out the same from the factory.
