[DML] Pre-Production Delorean

Hello,
Does anyone know where this car is at now?  The pictures of this car 
at auction were obviously taken with a poor camera.  It would be nice 
to see what this car looks like now and really see what a "pre-
production" car looks like.  Also, they noted that it possibly had a 
stainless steel frame...is this true?  Does anyone know how many of 
these cars were made and if they were given some type of VIN number or 
Pilot number...or Pre-production number?
