Believe it or not, there is a specialty provider for Ford Probes that went through and bought up a bunch of parts as they became discontinued. They sell the window felt (or belt, as they call it) for $87 each. Seems a little high to me given that the part reportedly cost $3 when the article was written. If anyone here has a brother that works at a parts counter its worth keeping our eyes open for a new substitute. Moderators may want to add a note to the procedure in the meantime? Thanks John for funding us a sub - will call.
