I redyed my carpets with stuff I bought from Leatherique. I am not entirely satisfied with the result. I had much better results with the leather seating surfaces. The dye is off-color and it leaves the carpet feeling stiff and lifeless. My recomendation is to use a carpet cleaner/steamer with some detergent and mildew remover. You should remove the carpeting from the car, ALL of it including the parts stapled to the rear. It all holds odors. My car had a smoker in it. Now you can't tell.
