My car had this "creeping idle" last year, but it has apparently stopped by itself (!!?!). However, I did notice that running the A/C was enough of a load to drag the 2000 RPM idle back down to normal. There is a collection of historical advice on this subject at the DMCNEWS web page: http://www.dmcnews.com/Techsection/idlespeed.html All of this has happened before; all of this will happen again.
