[DML] Interior Lights

Gentlemen I need your help. Electronics are not my strong suit but I want to finally look at why my interior lights don't work as they should.

Symtoms:
With both lights (Front and Package tray) set to come on with the doors:
The Front light will come on and stay on until the door is closed (No Delay).
The rear light does not light at all.

However, if you reach back and turn the rear light to "steady" on and then turn it to work with the doors it will stay on until you close the doors but it will delay before going out.

The bulbs are good, the contacts are all clean.
It seems to me that the problem is with the delay relay.
If this is the case where can I find it and can I simply remove it?
