If the trans and frame are wet, it's probably coming from somewhere forward of the clutch area. Leaks tend to flow toward the rear of the car. Wash it down with spray brake cleaner and try to find the place of origin. If it is at the tail, (front) of the trans check to see if the main shaft nut has machined a hole in the cap. If not, keep looking. Gear oil smells much stronger than motor oil, so be sure it is indeed that. Suspect everything, let your eyes tell you what's wrong.
