Try this: Put the clutch and pressure plate back onto the flywheel, and while you're bolting it down see how much the pressure plate moves back under the pressure of having the clutch in between. Then compare it with someone else who has a good flywheel and all components. I don't have my transmission out of the car, but perhaps someone else does, or maybe a vendor has the information? If the distances are the same then you can assume you just bolted the pressure plate down wrong the first time and all is well, if they're really different then you know its the flywheel that's been cut too much. -----Dani B. #5003 To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
