Thanks, Joe O'Brien for bringing up that touchy gas tank story again. So I made a mistake and drove the car with the bottom gas tank plate off & the bloody thing fell out. It was never mentioned not to drive with it off, on this list anyway, and this list is the bible of correctness, when it comes to DeLoreans. Glad the gas tank was made of poly. Gas mileage sure was lousy on my ride home When it hit the road, it wore a hole on a corner, and leaked gas for miles. It was easy to find my place! Has no one else done something dumb with their car? Am I the only sacrificial lamb? This could be the start of a new thread!
