Surely you are not arguing that an unfused load bearing device (internal illumination bulb) is a terrible design oversight... Had the ground wire not been in there, I doubt mine would have caught fire. Compare the headlight circuit to the hazard circuit. BTW: exactly "about where" did this fire start?
