[DML] Re: Jacking A DeLorean (Cracked Windshield)




This is why I don't trust the factory jacking points. I always jack
mine by the frame (flimsy itself, but less so than the fiberglass). 

I also carry a generic scissor jack with flat cradle so I won't have
to use the factory one on the side of the road (on big trips I carry a
floor jack and jack stands).

I know many owners have had success jacking their cars by the body,
and I've seen it done to others' cars myself, but I plan to never do
so to my own.
