There is no limit switch on the window (and no one-touch up/down either - this is a 1981 car). You are supposed to let go of the button when the window is all the way closed (or open). If it still clicks that means that the switch is stuck. Just press it momentarily in the other direction. That clicking noise is the window motor grinding itself to pieces.
