I would question both my mechanics ability, and his sense of self-worth if I was told by him that the source of my problems was a "bolt thingy". I don't mean to be mean here, but put down the video games, and get crackin' on that car yourself. Have the fool down at the garage physicly point out to you what he *thinks* is wrong with your car, and then tow it home.
