Make sure all 6 spark plugs are firing (put your timing light on each one, as close to the plug boot as possible. Also pull the plugs for a visual inspection). Make sure base timing is correct. But be aware that your scale could be off -- ran into a couple of cars this weekend with scales that needed to be re-indexed (in which case you're going to have to time by ear until Valley of Death is accessible. There's a re-indexing procedure that requires removing a block plug in there). Make sure your firing order is correct.
