I agree with the idea of putting a consistent identifier on DML emails - to the point that people will know (in general) who the author is. For instance, how many of you know what DMC Joe's "real" name is? And who really cares? This thread got started (again) because Greg neglected to put his name at the bottom of an email. He forgot to sign one a couple of weeks ago during a back-and-forth PRV Performance discussion too. So what? When I pull down DML messages with MS Outlook, the email address (endotex23 [endotex23@xxxxxxxxx] in this case) was clearly displayed. Those of you who access the list via the web may not see the sender's email address, but that doesn't mean it wasn't obvious to many of us. At least he didn't create a bogus account in an attempt to hide who he was...
